Making Pen - Stands using home-made items..!

Hello everyone..

    Today, I will tell you the technique of making creative pen stands out of simple things.. Here are some simple steps to follow :

Items required : Glass, permanent marker, glass colours, silver / aluminium foil, fevicol, ice cream sticks, glitter / coloured paper, acrylic colours, scissors, cutter, etc.  

1. Take a glass.. (glass or metal).
2. Cover the glass with a silver / aluminium foil .
3. Or cover the glass with some glitter paper and make some interesting designs on the paper with the permanent marker.
4. Next step is to colour the designs you have made on the glass..
5. If you have a glass ( not made up of steel. ), you should paint it with glass colours.
6. If coloured with glass colours, let it dry for 3 - 4 hrs.
7. Use the stand for keeping pens, pencils, and other items..
8. Enjoy !!!

Simple things to know about Abstract Paintings for the beginners in the art field..

Abstract Paintings - An evolution of feelings to canvas

Hi friends, artists, everyone...

        Today I have a new topic for the beginner level artists having interest in abstract art (paintings).. Abstract means a general idea in your mind, which you paint on the canvas without painting the actual forms of the things in your mind... You paint only with colors, unknown forms, etc. The simple things to know about abstract paintings are :-

1. When you decide the theme of the painting, you should make some color sketches, sketches of the 

    unknown form, compose, ratio of positive, negative parts, etc...

2. When you have the sketches ready, then stretch the canvas and start painting...

3. While painting, you should take care of the mood of the painting. eg., Red color is for fight, violence, etc., 

    Blue, white are for peace, coolness, Grey, black are for sadness, dullness, Yellow for brightness, Brown,   

    Green for earthly moods etc... 

4. Then you should decide the golden (focus point) in the painting. Similarly, you have to make a balance      

    point somewhere opposite to the golden point. So that, the people can catch every part of the paintings in  

    a circular motion..

5. After these proper steps, your painting will be of a great value, good looking, attractive etc...
